OUR STORY

Chuchaqui (choo-CHA-key) is a South American Quechua word that literally means "without legs". The word is colloquially used to refer to the hungover, and is affectionately used for local town drunks. It’s a badge of honor to refer to ourselves as “Los Chuchaquis” as we work through last night’s hangover the following workday. We work with old and thoughtfully farmed California vineyards with an emphasis on Iberian inspired and unique varieties less commonly found in the Golden State.
